Food Prep Solutions (“FoodPrep,” “we,” or “us”) is committed to respecting the privacy of users of the FoodPrep website and customers of our products and services (collectively “you”). For that purpose, FoodPrep has adopted this policy to address what information we collect about you as well as how we collect, use, and disclose that information.
How We Collect Your Personal Information
FoodPrep collects two types of information about you: (1) Information passively collected upon your visit to FoodPrep’s website, and (2) Information you voluntarily provide to FoodPrep in the course of requesting information from us or purchasing or using our products and services.
Passively Collected Information
When you visit FoodPrep’s website, we may automatically collect some network activity information such as the visitor’s Internet protocol (IP) address, your interactions with our website or other digital content, and the time and date of your visit. This may include personal information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual or household.
FoodPrep’s website makes use of Google Analytics to automatically collect the above information through “cookies.” Cookies are small text files placed on your computer to keep track of information about your browsing activities, some of which may be considered your personal information. Some web browsers incorporate a “Do Not Track” (DNT) or similar feature that signals to websites that a visitor does not want to have his/her online activity and behavior tracked through technologies such as cookies. Not all browsers offer a DNT option and there is currently no industry consensus on how to recognize or respond to a DNT signal. FoodPrep currently does not respond to DNT signals.
